Pure Vermont maple syrup

We offer our high quality maple syrup to customers who want to buy from the source — online or in person at our farm stand or farmers’ market booth!
Maple sugaring season is a special time. It is short and intense, where the trees begin stirring in the lead up to true spring. During the freeze-and-thaw cycles of February and March, we harvest maple sap from about 8,000 taps from our maple trees (“sugarbush”) along Miller Road in Dummerston.
After boiling maple sap down into pure maple syrup (and conducting lots of quality control) we sell this “Vermont gold” in jug sizes from half-pint through gallon.
Maple syrup grades
Maple syrup is graded according to color and flavor. The current guidelines grade maple syrup on the spectrum from darker syrup (robust flavor) to the lightest golden syrup (more delicate flavor).
Which maple syrup grade is the best?
We are often asked this question. All grades of syrup are delicious; it really depends on preference, or what you’re used to.
- Traditionally, darker syrup was used in baking and in recipes because the robust flavor can hold its own in the presence of other ingredients.
- Lighter, more delicate syrup is best savored over waffles, pancakes, or vanilla ice cream where its pure flavor can shine.
- When you want an “all-purpose” syrup, or you don’t know what your preference is, we recommend an amber grade. (Best of both worlds!)
Unpasteurized apple cider vinegar

Our unpasteurized apple cider vinegar (ACV) is a wonderful raw, lightly-filtered vinegar. Its clean, clear apple flavor makes it perfect for a large number of applications. In its unpasteurized state, this apple cider vinegar contains many beneficial properties.
- It is the main ingredient in the easy-to-make health tonic known as “fire cider“
- Research has demonstrated that ACV effectively helps control blood sugar and hypertension in Type II diabetics1 2, as well as improve blood lipids 3
- It can help reduce heartburn and acid reflux in pregnancy
- Properly diluted with water, ACV can be used to make hair rinses and facial toners
- Of course, it can be used in many delicious recipes!
You can find our apple cider vinegar in many natural foods stores and markets around the region, and direct from us at the farm and farmers’ markets.
